Dr. Eric Monday | Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration and Co-Executive Vice President for Health Affairs

Dr. Eric N. Monday has served as the executive vice president for finance and administration (EVPFA) since December 2012. Additionally, he provides administrative support to the president and manages operations for the Office of the President.

Todd Shupp, CFA | Chief Investment Officer

Todd Shupp joined the University of Kentucky in January 2015 as the university’s first Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Todd is responsible for managing the $2.5 billion endowment portfolio in adherence with its objective of generating attractive returns that ensure perpetual support to the university. Prior to joining UK, Todd was a Manager Research Consultant and Principal at RVK, an institutional investment consulting firm, where he worked closely with UK for several years. He began his career at The Vanguard Group, where he held a variety of roles supporting the investment management function. Todd graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Chester University with a BS in Finance.  He is a CFA charterholder.


Nancy Rohde, CFA | Investment Director

Nancy Rohde is an Investment Director at the University of Kentucky. Having joined in 2018, she provides investment support, including manager review and monitoring, for the institution’s $2.5 billion endowment. Prior to joining UK, she spent nearly six years at Pavilion Advisory Group, a global investment consulting organization, where she co-managed the Global Equity manager research team and guided clients on public equity-related manager research recommendations and perspective. Her career has also included manager mutual fund research at Edward Jones and hedge fund manager research and portfolio management at Amundi Alternative Investments, a fund-of-hedge-funds. She began her career at Citadel Investment Group. Ms. Rohde holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a CFA charter holder. Originally from St. Louis, she now lives in Lexington with her husband and her two 9-year old daughters.


Connor McKee, CFA | Investment Analyst

Connor McKee is an Investment Analyst with the University of Kentucky’s Investment Office, where he supports the management of the University’s Endowment. As a generalist on the team, he contributes to manager research and due diligence across asset classes, as well as reporting and automation efforts. Prior to joining UK full-time in 2023, he spent nearly three years with Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina, completing the Financial Management Analyst Program (FMAP). During his time in the program, he rotated through the Technology group and the Private Bank group, remaining in the Private Bank as a senior financial analyst after completing the program. He also gained early experience with the UK Investment Office as an undergraduate and with PIMCO in Newport Beach, California. He graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Kentucky with a BBA in Finance and Accounting and a minor in International Business through the Global Scholars Program. He is also a CFA charterholder. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, boating and watersports on the lake, and traveling.


Kristina Goins | Operations Manager

Kristina Goins is the Investment Operations Manager at the University of Kentucky. She began her UK career in 2005, joining the Investment Office in 2016. There she supports the day-to-day functions of the Investment Office and oversees the routine operations of the Endowment’s key service providers. Prior to her current role, she worked for 3 years in UK’s Payroll Office and was the Budget Officer for the UK Treasurer’s Office for 8 years. She began her career at JP Morgan Chase Bank. Ms. Goins holds a bachelor’s degree (BBA) in Finance from the University of Kentucky. Originally from Berea, Kentucky, she now lives in Lexington with her husband.

The UK Endowment engages Cambridge Associates in a non-discretionary “Extension of Staff” role, adding depth to research and performance reporting and working in close partnership with the UK Investment Office.
